Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty entered wedlock with her businessman beau Raj Kundra on Nov 22 at her close friend Kiran Bawa’s farmhouse in Khandala. Shilpa was seen in a red saree clad with diamonds and emeralds designed by Tarun Tahiliani worth Rs 50 lakh. Shilpa’s jewelry also cost Rs 3 crore.
The guest list includes Amitabh Bachchan and family, SRK and family, the Kapoors, Rekha, Farah Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Karan Johar, the Deols, Sushmita Sen, Salman Khan and the liquor baron Vijay Malya. Shilpa has invited Rajasthan Royals captain Shane Warne and popstar Jermaine Jackson for her grand reception.

In an interview for The Times of India, Shetty quashed rumours of a romance with film director Anubhav Sinha and claimed to have changed her mobile phone number in order to concentrate on her busy schedule. But in a later interview for The Sunday Mirror, a friend of Shetty said that she was “in love” with Sinha and that he was her “soulmate”, but that she could not be with him for fear of parental disapproval, social stigma (Sinha is married with two children, although currently separated) and adverse public perception.
